Summary of the thesis and the work at Einride
My work at Einride explored how the remote operations interface of autonomous electric trucks can scale beyond the current industry standard of 1:1 control.
The work was then carried over to a full-time summer position at Einride, where I continued developing the Remote Operation product in the role of Junior Product Manager.
Project goals
The primary goal of this research was to explore the limitations of 1:1 (One-to-One) remote operations, as well as the UI and UX needs of the Remote Operators in 1:n (One-to-Many) and m:n (Many-to-Many) operations.
